Per the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) website, your organization is no longer recognized as a tax exemption entity. In IRS terms:

“YOUR ORGANIZATION’S TAX EXEMPT STATUS HAS BEEN REVOKED.”

The IRS notifies thousands of non-profit organizations that their tax exemption status has been revoked each year. The names of these organizations are publically posted on their website (http://www.irs.gov/Charities-&-Non-Profits/Exempt-Organizations-Select-Check). From the date of revocation, the organizations on the list are treated as taxable entities and are required to remit taxes on all net income. Additionally, contributions to the organization are no longer considered deductible and grantors are often unwilling to provide funding.
